Investing in Our Central Production Kitchen to Support Growth

We are proud to share the launch of Kingsland Kitchen, our new central production kitchen based in Shoreditch, London.

This move demonstrates the ongoing growth of Bennett Hay and the rising demand from our clients for high-quality workplace catering, hospitality, and guest services. As a London-based independent workplace caterer, investing in our food infrastructure enables us to expand thoughtfully while remaining close to our food, our people, and our clients.

Kingsland Kitchen is housed in a former Victorian police station and replaces our previous production kitchen, offering an extra 1,400 square feet of space and a location nearer to many of the sites we support across the city. After a year-long search, the new kitchen provides us with the capacity and flexibility to support both existing contracts and new client partnerships.

The kitchen supports sites with limited on-site facilities while ensuring food quality, consistency and presentation are never compromised. It also allows our on-site teams to focus on service, engagement and the day to day experience of the workplace.

Led by Our Food Team

Kingsland Kitchen is overseen by Head Chef Nick Jarvis, who joined Bennett Hay in 2023, and works closely with our Culinary Director, Candice Webber, to lead food development, production, and innovation.

Our approach remains chef-led and values-driven. We work closely with smaller independent suppliers, prioritise British produce where possible, and design menus that reflect the season. This is how we deliver food with integrity, depth of flavour and a strong sense of place, even when producing at scale.

Designed for Our People and Our Future

Kingsland Kitchen creates a better working environment for our teams by improving equipment, layout, and space for collaboration. It supports training, development and progression for our chefs and food teams, which remains central to how we operate as an independent business.

We achieved 100% retention over the past year, reflecting the trust our clients place in us and the strength of our operational model. Kingsland Kitchen provides us with the infrastructure to continue growing thoughtfully and sustainably, without losing what makes us personal, agile, and hands-on.
