We are proud to share that Bennett Hay is now a Certified B Corporation™.
Following a two year process and a significant team effort across the business, we have been independently verified by B Lab™ as meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
The certification process required us to review every part of our business. Our policies, operations and partnerships were assessed across five key areas: governance, colleagues, community, environment and customers. It was a rigorous process that challenged us to evidence the impact we aim to create through the way we work.
While many of these principles have always been part of how Bennett Hay operates, becoming a Certified B Corporation provides an independent benchmark. It gives our clients, colleagues and partners confidence that our approach to responsible business is measurable and externally verified.
This milestone also strengthens the work we are already doing through our Growing for Good sustainability strategy. Through this programme we focus on responsible sourcing, reducing waste, supporting communities and improving colleague wellbeing across our business.
Our next steps include measuring the carbon footprint of our catering operations and establishing clear reduction targets. Alongside this, we are continuing to expand ESG initiatives across our sites and improving how we track and communicate progress.
Becoming a Certified B Corporation is not an end point. It is part of an ongoing commitment to operate responsibly and continue improving the impact we have on people, communities and the environment.
